Dr Adam Fletcher is recognised internationally as a pioneer of risk-based Fatigue Management within workplaces. He provides independent expert advice to government and industry clients in a range of sectors including aviation & aerospace, rail & road transport, emergency & essential services, healthcare, mining, maritime, oil & gas as well as utilities.

Dr Fletcher founded Integrated Safety Support in 2006 in order to translate the scientific and medical understanding of human sleep, work and fatigue into practical solutions for real-world application. By combining an understanding of 24-hour work contexts, risk engineering and human performance, Adam's work leads to measurable benefits for safety, productivity and compliance.

Myriniel has 10+ years of experience managing people and systems in Aviation, Logistics, Government Training, and Events & Conferences. Her primary background is in Business Management, Document Control, online Training courses and Program Coordination.

Myriniel’s current role spans client-focused and internal projects involving digital and social media platforms, business systems, data analytics support and reporting, as well as strategic technology projects.

Richard Yates FRAeS

Principal Consultant

Following over 20 years in the Royal Air Force as a Nimrod navigator and senior operations manager, Richard Yates held a number of executive management positions in civil aviation regulatory bodies in Europe and Australia. Amongst many other safety regulation responsibilities, the regulation of aircrew flight and duty time and rest requirements has been a constant feature in Richard’s civilian career.

Having extensive knowledge and experience of complex operational environments and regulatory regimes in many parts of the world, and possessing excellent communication and organisational skills, Richard started consulting in 2001. His focus is on safety management, including human factors, in all modes of transport.

Jeanie Pantahos, MBA, MIML

Manager Finance & People

Jeanie Pantahos joined Dr Adam Fletcher in June 2003 to the position of Office Administrator. From 2005, Jeanie managed both the consulting practice of Adam Fletcher and Humantra RTO (Registered Training Organisation). Jeanie was responsible for all aspects of both businesses, including financial reporting, compliance, RTO management and coordination of training materials.

Based in the Adelaide office, Jeanie manages finance and business compliance for Integrated Safety Support.

Karen Heathcote, BEc

Consultant & Administration Manager

Karen started with ISS in 2007 and has fulfilled a wide range of administration and technical roles in that time. Currently, her time is shared between managing sleep & fatigue studies for clients all around the world. This includes working with hardware (such as Actiwatches to objectively measure sleep), software (analysis and project management), suppliers as well as clients.

Prior to joining ISS Karen held several senior consulting positions in the finance, mining, oil & gas industries specialising in employee & industrial relations, industry & corporate policy development, occupational health & safety, and compliance.
